31st October:

North Uist: A female / immature Common Scoter is on Loch Hosta.

South Uist: A White-billed Diver flew south off Ardvule this morning; also 1 Long-tailed Duck, 17 Eider, 4 Red-breasted Merganser, 3 Whooper Swans, 152 Gannets, 10 Red-throated Divers, 35 Great Northern Divers, 15 Guillemots, 2 Razorbills, 1 Black Guillemot, 18 Auk sp. and  116 Kittiwakes south. A Brambling was in South Glendale.

30th October:

Lewis: 55 Waxwings were seen in Stornoway, behind the Bangla Spice restraunt. A Glaucous Gull was at Back. A Little Egret was at Steinish.

North Uist: A Fieldfare was in Carinish this morning. A drake American Wigeon was at Loch Aileodair.

Benbecula: 4 Woodcocks were in a garden in Torlum.

South Uist: A Brambling and Chiffchaff were at Kinloch.

 

29th October:

Lewis: A juvenile Glaucous Gull was seen at the Butt this morning along with a Jack Snipe, Woodcock and Snow Bunting. A Waxwing was in Swainbost, by the Cross Inn.

St. Kilda: A Sooty Shearwater flew past Hirta this morning.

Harris: A drake Surf Scoter was in the Sound of Taransay. 5 Goosanders were in Tarbet.

Sound of Harris: A Little Auk was seen from the ferry this morning.

North Uist: A drake Green-winged Teal was on Loch Sandary today; also a pale-bellied Brent Goose with Barnacles at Knockintorran.

South Uist: A Leach's Petrel flew south at Ardvule this morning; also 35 Gannets, 16 Great Northern Divers, 4 Red-throated Divers, 1 Black Guillemot, 5 Guillemots, 8 Long-tailed Ducks and 3 Kittiwakes.

Marine Sightings: 8 Common Dolphins were seen off Stornoway from the Ullapool ferry.

28th October:

Lewis: 9 Waxwings in at Marybank, Stornoway; also a Great Tit here. A Great Tit was seen in Ness. A Lapland Bunting, Ruff and Scaup were at Loch Stiapabhat. A Chiffchaff was in Port of Ness. 50 Snow Buntings were at the Butt. 2 Bramblings were at Gravir.

South Uist: The Cattle Egret was seen at Ormaclet today. 2 Bramblings, 4 Blackcaps, 3 Chiffchaff and a Woodcock were at North Loch Eynort. 10 Black-tailed Godwits were at Bornish. A female Blackcap and 2 Bramblings were in South Glendale. 3 Waxwings were seen near Aird-mhicheil.

27th October:

North Uist: 2 Bramblings a male Blackcap and 40 Redwings were at Langass Lodge.

Benbecula: The juvenile American Golden Plover was at Lionaclet. A Red-necked Grebe was reported from Loch Mor; also a Slavonian Greve and female Pintail there.

South Uist: 2 juvenile American Golden Plovers were on the Range at West Gerinish. A Chiffchaff, Blackcap and Fieldfare were at Carnan.

 

26th October:

Lewis: 3 Snow Buntings were at the Butt today. 2 Chiffchaffs were in Lews Castle Grounds.

South Uist: The Cattle Egret was seen in the Stoneybridge / Ormiclate area again late this morning although was very mobile. A female Common Socter was in Loch Eynort. Large numbers of Redwings are scattered around the islands. A Chiffchaff was at Druidbeg. 30 Black-tailed Godwits were on Bornish machair. A Chiffchaff was in South Glendale.

25th October:

Lewis: 3 Snow Buntings were at the Butt. A Sterna tern (presumably Arctic was seen off Port of Ness today.

St. Kilda: 1,150+ Redwings and a Fieldfare were around the village on Hirta.

North Uist: A male Blackcap was in Carinish today and 40 - 50 White-fronted Geese flew south last morning. 12 Whooper Swans also flew south over Carinish this evening. A Little Egret was seen at Sollas.

South Uist: The Cattle Egret was seen at Stoneybridge.

Barra: The small Canada Goose was with 150 Barnacle Geese at Borve Point. Also at least 800 Redwings, 15 Chiffchaffs and 5 Blackcaps on the island.

 

24th October:

Lewis: A Sooty Shearwater flew west past the Butt and 3 Snow Buntings were by the lighthouse.

North Uist: 1,500+ Barnacle Geese and 4 Pink-footed Geese were on Berneray. A female American Wigeon was on Oban Trumisgarry. 3 Siskins were in Lochmaddy. A mixed flock of 10 Greylag Geese and 3 Barnacle Geese flew south (in v-formation) over Carinish this morning.

South Uist: Birds south at Ardvule this morning included 18 Barnacle Geese, 4 Long-tailed Duck, 8 Gannets, 10 Leach's Petrels, 10 Kittiwakes, 16 Great Northern Divers and 2 Red-throated Divers. 25 Black-tailed Godwits were on Bornish machair.

23rd October:

Lewis: 2 Yellow-browed Warblers and a Pied Flycatcher were at Crulivig, Bernera early afternoon.

North Uist: A Jack Snipe was seen at Carinish this afternoon.

Benbecula: The juvenile American Golden Plover was at Liniclate again today, near the Torlum turning.

22nd October:

Lewis: late news of a juvenile Rosy Starling at South Dell on 19th; Yellow-browed Warbler and Siberian Chiffchaff there today. A Treecreeper and 75+ Redwings were in Port of Ness today.

North Uist: A Pectoral Sandpiper was at Loch Paible. 20 Brent Geese flew south at Balranald around midday.

South Uist: Southerly passage at Ardvule today included 55 Gannets, 5 Red-throated Divers, 20 Great Northern Divers, 24 Greenland White-fronted Geese, 9 Tufted Duck, 3 Long-tailed Duck, 8 Kittiwakes, 1 Pomarine Skua, 4 Guillemots, 1 Black Guillemot, 1 Snipe and 2 Golden Plover. 17 Greenland White-fronted Geese flew south over Daliburgh.

21st October:

Lewis: A Buff-breasted Sandpiper and Pectoral Sandpiper were at Mangurstadh before flying south; also a Lesser Whitethroat here. A Yellow-browed Warbler was seen at Ardroil. A Lapland Bunting was at Gallan Head.

North Uist: A Manx Shearwater flew south at Aird an Runair this morning.

Benbecula: A juvenile American Golden Plover was at Torlum today. 17 Barnacle Geese flew south at Stinky Bay and a pale-belleid Brent Goose was off Balivanich.

South Uist: 2 Leach's Petrels and a juvenile Arctic Tern flew south at Ardvule this morning; also 107 Gannets, 3 Long-tailed Duck, 24 Great Northern Divers, 4 Red-throated Divers, 11 Guillemots, 3 Razorbills and 7 Kittiwakes flew south. A Little Egret was seen near Daliburgh. 29 Black-tailed Godwits were on Bornish machair.

Barra: The Baltimore Oriole is still at Northbay House this morning. The small Canada Goose was at Borve and a Willow Warbler was at Creachan. The Green Sandpiper was seen at Traigh Bhailais, Vatersay.

Marine Sightings: 2 Bottle-nosed Dolphins were seen off Ardvule.

20th October:

Lewis: A Yellow-browed Warbler was seen in Skigersta. 60 Redwings, a Brambling and 5 Snow Buntings were seen at the Butt. A Blackcap was in Port of Ness.

North Uist: 680+ Barnacle Geese and a Pink-footed Goose are on Baleshare.

South Uist: A Black-throated Diver and 3 Long-tailed Ducks flew south at Ardvule this morning. A Cattle Egret was seen in Daliburgh this evening.

Barra: The Baltimore Oriole is still at Northbay House this afternoon but elusive. A Yellow-browed Warbler and Willow Warbler were seen at Creachan. A Treecreeper was seen at Eoligarry. The small Canada Goose was seen at Borve Point again.

Insects: 2 Silver Y's and a Rosy Rustic were caught at Carinish last night.

 

19th October:

Lewis: 3 Snow Buntings were at the Butt.

South Uist: 2 Chiffchaffs were at Druidibeg, 2 Chiffchaffs were at Howmore. 4 Blackcaps, a Brambling and 2 Lesser Redpolls were at North Loch Eynort; a Yellow-browed Warbler and a Chifchaff were seen here in the afternoon. 50+ Barnacle Geese flew south over the Range this morning. Birds south at Ardvule this morning included 192 Gannets, 39 Great Northern Divers, 1 Black-throated Diver, 9 Red-throated Divers, 75 Barnacle Geese, 10 Red-breasted Mergansers, 5 Shelduck, 28 Auk sp., 75 Kittiwakes and 1 Grey Phalarope. 24 Black-tailed Godwits were on Bornish machair. 3 Brambling were in Bornish where 2 Snow Buntings flew over.

Barra: The Baltimore Oriole is still at Northbay House this morning. A Yellow-browed Warbler was at Glen.

18th October:

Lewis: 405 Barnacle Geese and 12 Whooper Swans headed south-west over the Butt this morning; plus 5 Snow Buntings in off the sea there and 100 Redwings present in the area later in the day. A Garden Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, Chiffchaff, Brambling and 280 Redwings were seen in Port of Ness.

Harris: 20 Barnacle Geese flew south and 5 Whooper Swans flew east at Huisinis this morning.

South Uist: 2 Brambling were seen in Bornish.

Barra: The Baltimore Oriole was still at Northbay House today, occasionally straying into a neghbouring garden; also a couple of Willow Warblers, Blackcaps and Brambling seen. A male Hen Harrier was over Northbay House and several flocks of Barnacle Geese picked up heading south. An Arctic Tern was in the Sound of Barra. The small Canada Goose was seen at Borve Point again today. At least 42 Whooper Swans were on Loch Tangasdale.

17th October:

Lewis: 6 Snow Buntings, a Brambling, Fielfare and 25 Redwings were at the Butt. A Yellow-browed Warbler, Blackcap and 15 Redwings were in Port of Ness; also 19 Whooper Swans flew south-east in the morning.

Harris: 12 Bramblings were at Miavaig.

North Uist: A Swallow was in Carinish today.

South Uist: A Yellow-browed Warbler, Chiffchaff, 2 Bramblings and 6 Redwings were in Snishival plantation. A Coal Tit and Chiffchaff were at Howmore; also 50 Barnacle Geese flew south there. 2 Bramblings were in Bornish. A Chiffchaff, 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 5 Bramblings and 30 Redwings were at North Loch Eynort; also 48 Barnacle Geese flew south there this afternoon. 40 Barnacle Geese flew south over South Glendale this morning.

Barra: A Baltimore Oriole is at Northbay House until mid-afternoon although rather flighty; also on the island 5 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Siberian Chifchaff, Wood Warbler and Mistle Thrush.

 

16th October:

Lewis: The Yellow-browed Warbler is still at Steinis. A Little Egret is at Gress.

Harris: 4 Bramblings were at Miavaig.

North Uist: 2 Bramblings were in Sollas today. A Wheatear was at Loch Euphort. 48 Black-tailed Godwits are by Loch Sandary.

Barra: The Canada Goose was seen at Borve Point with Barnacle Geese again today; also at least 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, 12 Bramblings and the 2nd winter Mediterranean Gull on the island.

 

15th October:

Lewis: A Yellow-browed Warbler, 2 Blackcaps and 55 Bramblings were in Port of Ness. A male Hen Harrier was at the south end of Loch Stiapabhat. A Yellow-browed Warbler was in Lew's Castle Grounds, Stornoway and another was at Steinish. A Little Egret was at Gress.

North Uist: A Pomarine Skua flew south at Aird an Runair this morning. A Little Egret was on Loch Grogarry. A Yellow-browed Warbler was at Clachan a Luib.

Barra: The Pechora Pipit was showing well by the football pictch in Castlebay again today. A Wood Warbler and Yellow-browed Warbler at Glen and another Yellow-browed Warbler was at Ardmhor. 3 Yellow-browed Warblers and 2 Common Rosefinch were seen at Brevig. A ringtail Hen Harrier was seen near Creachan. 22 Whooper Swans flew south at Allasdale. A Manx Shearwater and Arctic Skua were seen in the Sound of Barra.

14th October:

Lewis: 2 Yellow-browed Warblers, a Willow Warbler, 2 Blackcaps, 30 Bramblings and a Swallow are in Port of Ness. 2 Wheatears, 11 Fieldfare and 12 Redwings were at the Butt.

North Uist: A Yellow-browed Warbler and 5 Bramblings are at Langass Lodge. A Wheatear was in Carinish this morning; also a Woodcock present. The Lesser Yellowlegs was at Loch Paible.

South Uist: Birds south at Ardvule this morning were 46 Gannets, 20 Great Northern Divers, 42 Auks sp., 17 Guillemots, 3 Razorbills, 112 Kittiwakes and 98 Barnacle Geese while 2 Common Scoter flew north. 22 Black-tailed Godwits were on Bornish machair.

Barra: The Pechora Pipit and a Yellow-browed Warbler are in Castlebay by the football pitch. The small Canada Goose was seen at Borve. The Wood Warbler was still at Glen.

13th October:

Lewis: 200+ Redwings, 10 Fieldfare, 8 Bramblings and a Chiffchaff were in Lew's Castle Grounds, Stornoway this morning. A Yellow-browed Warbler is in Port of Ness; also 20 Bramblings, 2 Blackcaps, 2 Garden Warblers, 3 Tree Sparrows and 15 Pink-footed Geese. A Fieldfare, 9 Redwings and a Wheatear were at the Butt.

Harris: Yellow-browed Warbler was reported from the island today.

North Uist: 350+ Barnacle Geese flew south over Carinish around 8 am followed by another 4 - 500 south over Baleshare around 08:30 am. 5 Fieldfare were in Sollas this morning. The Lesser Yellowlegs was seen at Loch Sandary again in the afternoon and the Pied Flycatcher is nearby.

South Uist: 2 Pectoral Sandpipers were on the Range at West Gerinish; also 60 Barnacle Geese flew south there early afternoon. A Chiffchaff, male Blackcap, 2 Fieldfare and a few Redwings were at Druidibeg; also 13 Whooper Swans heading south-eastwards. A Fieldfare, 10+ Redwings and a male Blackcap were at Grogarry Lodge. 5 Bramblings and 4 redpolls were at Carnan. 4 Slavonian Grebes were on Loch Bee. Southerly passage off Ardvule included 197 Gannets, 41 Great Northern Divers, 8 Red-throated Divers, 361 Barnacle Geese, 1 Long-tailed Duck plus 1 N, 175 Auk sp., 1 Black Guillemot, 65 Guillemots, 19 Razorbills, 3 Great Skuas, 1 Arctic Skua and 22 Kittiwakes. 29 Black-tailed Godwits were by Loch Bornish. A Wheatear was at West Gerinish.

Barra: A Pechora Pipit was on the football pitch in Castlebay today; also a Wood Warbler at Glen.

12th October:

Lewis: A 1st winter Mediterranean Gull was seen at Holm, Stornoway. 25+ Fieldfares were in Ness.

Harris: 6 Bramblings were in Tarbet today. A Little Egret was seen Miavaig.

North Uist: 2 Wheatears were on the machair at Balemore. 2 Swallows flew south at Loch Sandary. 1,000+ Barnacle Geese were at Balranald. The Lesser Yellowlegs was seen at the south end of Loch Paible this morning.

South Uist: The juvenile American Golden Plover is still in Askernish; also a Swallow there. Birds south at Ardvule today were 185 Gannets, 14 Great Northern Divers, 4 Red-throated Divers, 7 Tufted Ducks, 3 Kittiwakes, 1 Common Tern juv, 1 Arctic Skua, 1 Great Skua, 8 Guillemots, 2 Razorbills and 25 Auk sp.

Barra: 5 Sooty Shearwaters were seen from Brevig.

11th October:

Lewis: A Fieldfare, 2 Redwings, a Robin and a Blackcap were seen at the Butt. 60 Redwings, 8 Fieldfare, 5 Wheatears and 3 Bramblings were at Eoropie. A Yellow-browed Warbler, Pied Flycatcher, Willow Warbler, Blackcap and Swallow were in Port of Ness; also an Arctic Tern past there.

St. Kilda: The female Snowy Owl was seen near the village on Hirta again today.

Harris: A Little Egret is at Ob Leasaid, Manish for it's second day.

North Uist: A Lesser Yellowlegs was at Loch Sandary this morning; also around 70 Black-tailed Godwits there. 2 Bramblings are at Langass Lodge.

South Uist: The juvenile American Golden Plover was at Askernish opposite the golf clubhouse this morning. Birds south at Ardvule today included 112 Gannets, 25 Great Northern Divers, 4 Red-throated Divers, 235 Barnacle Geese, 13 Wigeon, 4 Guillemots, 1 Razorbill, 1 Black Guillemot and 26 Auk sp. An alba Wagtail arriving from out at sea was chased and caught by a Merlin. 21 Black-tailed Godwits were at Loch Bornish.

10th October:

Lewis: 11 Whooper Swans were on Loch Tiumpan.

South Uist: A Wheatear was at Carnan and a Swallow at Howmore. A Wheatear and 5 Swallows were at Askernish.

Barra: A Green Sandpiper was on Vatersay this morning. The Isabelline Shrike is still at Donscurravel house, Eoligarry. Barred Warblers were seen at Brevig and Creachan.

 

9th October:

Lewis: A Little Egret was seen at Loch Roag Beag.

Harris: 3 Redwings were at Miavaig this morning. 2 drake Surf Scoters are still in the Sound of Taransay.

North Uist: Around 800 Barnacle Geese flew south over Baleshare this morning and a further 1,000+ this evening., 1,500 Barnacle Geese passed Aird an Runair this morning.

South Uist: The Common Rosefinch is still at Bornish.

Barra: The Isabelline Shrike is still at Donscurravel house, Eoligarry. The Barred Warbler was at Brevig; also Wood Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat and a small Canada Goose on the island.

 

8th October:

Lewis: 16 Redwings were in Port of Ness. 40 Whooper Swans and 350 Barnacle Geese flew south-west at the Butt during the morning.

North Uist: Around 140 Barnacle Geese were on Baleshare this morning before Ca. 100 flew south; also a Swallow there. A Lesser Yellowlegs was at Aird an Runair this morning. 400 Barnacle Geese flew south at Carinish today. The Lesser Whitethroat was still at Clachan na Luib.

Benbecula: Around 250 Barnacle Geese flew south over Grasmdale late this afternoon. At least 4 Swallows were over Balivanich.

South Uist: A Common Rosefinch was in Bornish. A Greenland Redpoll and a Chiffchaff were at Snishival. 2 Pectoral Sandpipers were at West Gerinish on the Range; also a Black-tailed Godwit there. 15 Barnacle Geese flew south at Aird-mhicheil at lunch time. A female Common Scoter was near the head of Loch Eynort. A Pink-footed Goose and single Black-tailed Godwit were on Bornish machair. 2 Swallows were at Ardvule. The juvenile American Golden Plover was at Askernish.

South Uist: The juvenile American Golden Plover was seen by the golf clubhouse at Askernish this morning.

 

6th October:

Lewis: A Barred Warbler is in Bragar (by post office); also a Lesser Whitethroat present. 3 Long-tailed Tits, a Chiffchaff, a Redwing, 5 Swallows, 3 Siskins and 3 Common Redpolls were in Lew's Castle Grounds, Stornoway. 8 Swallows were at Steinish. 75+ Redwings, a Brambling, Swallow, 2 Tree Sparrows, 2 Garden Warblers, a Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Blackcaps and a Willow Warbler in Port of Ness.

North Uist: A Willow Warbler and 2 Swallows are in Carinish. The Pied Flycatcher is still by Loch Sandary. A Lesser Whitethroat was at Clachan a Luib.

South Uist: A Pectoral Sandpiper is on the Range at West Gerinish. 4 Redwings were in Druidibeg plantation. The Lesser Yellowlegs, a Pectoral Sandpiper and an American Golden Plover are at Askernish.

Barra: The Isabelline Shrike is still in the garden at Donscurravel house, Eoligarry. The Barred Warbler was seen at Brevig and a Yellow-browed Warbler and Wood Warbler were also on the island. 2nd winter Mediterranean Gull at Eoligarry and around 50 Redwings in the island.

 

5th October:

Lewis: A Sooty Shearwater, Manx Shearwater, 3 Arctic Terns and a Bonxie flew west past the Butt this morning. 4 Redwings were in the lighthouse compound at the Butt and 10 Snow Buntings were nearby. A Pomarine Skua and a Sooty Shearwater flew past Bragar this morning. A male Hen Harrier and 30 - 40 Twite were in Leurbost today.

Harris: 22 Whooper Swans flew east over Miavaig this morning.

North Uist: The Pied Flycatcher is still by Loch Sandary; also a Willow Warbler and Redwing in the area. 160+ Barnacle Geese were on Loch Paible. 54 Black-tailed Godwits were at Balranald.

Benbecula: A Greenland-type Redpoll, 7 Swallows and a Greenland Wheatear were in Balivanich.

South Uist: The Lesser Yellowlegs is still at Askernish; also a Pectoral Sandpiper there.

Barra: The Isabelline Shrike is still in the garden at Donscurravel house, Eoligarry and the Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Creachan, Brevig. A Yellow-browed Warbler and Wood Warbler were also on the island.

 

4th October:

Lewis: A Yellow-browed Warbler was in Lews Castle Grounds today. 2 Scaup were on Loch Grinnebhat, Shawbost today. 2 Common Redpolls were in Upper Coll. 8 Snow Buntings were near the lighthouse at the Butt; also 136 Barnacle Geese flew west there in 4 flocks. A Swallow, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler and Arctic Tern were in Port of Ness.

North Uist: A Lesser Whitethroat was at Langass Lodge. 18 Barnacle Geese were seen heading south-west down the Minch just outside Lochmaddy Harbour this afternoon. The Pied Flycatcher is still near Loch Sandary. 57 Barnacle Geese dropped in at Loch Paible before continuing south; also 5 Pink-footed Geese there.

South Uist: The Lesser Yellowlegs was seen in Askernish again this morning. A couple of Redwings were seen at the roadside in Bornish.

Barra: The Isabelline Shrike is still in the garden at Donscurravel house, Eoligarry. A Blyth's Reed Warbler was at Creachan, Brevig this afternoon; also a Yellow-browed Warbler and Wood Warbler in the island.

3rd October:

Lewis: A Common Rosefinch was at Loch Ordais, Bragar. 2 Lapland Buntings flew north over Bragar this morning. 20 Snow Buntings were at Cross / Skigersta.

North Uist: A Turtle Dove was in Carinish this evening.

South Uist: A juvenile American Golden Plover was at Askernish. At Ardvule a southerly passage of 153 Gannets, 2 Great Northern Divers, 1 Red-throated Diver (2 N) 1 Black-throated Diver (N), 1 Long-tailed Duck (N), 4 Razorbills, 3 Guillemots, 10 Golden Plover off the sea and a Great Skua (N) this morning.

Barra: The Isabelline Shrike is still at Eoligarry in the garden at Donscurravel house; also a Barred Warbler, Yellow-browed Warbler, Wood Warbler, Pied Flycatcher and a Grey Wagtail on the island. 15 Whooper Swans dropped in east of Ardmhor ferry terminal this morning followed by another 9 in the afternoon. 2 pale-bellied Brent Geese flew south-east across the Sound of Barra and another 12 were at Eoligarry.

2nd October:

Lewis: A Pied Flycatcher was seen in a garden at Ardroil this morning. 2 Sooty Shearwaters and 7 Bonxies past Labost this morning; also a Snow Bunting here. 13 Whooper Swans were on Loch Ordais. A Little Egret was at Earshader. Uig this afternoon, on the edge of Loch Roag.

South Uist: 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and 3 Black-tailed Godwits were on the Range at West Gerinish this morning. The rather elusive Lesser Yellowlegs is still at Askernish (2nd field back from Golf clubhouse and south of the road). 2 Sooty Shearwaters flew south at Ardvule this morning.

Barra: An Isabelline Shrike was showing well at Eoligarry this afternoon.

1st October:

Lewis: 16 Whooper Swans flew south over Ness this afternoon. 2 Lapland Buntings and 4 Snow Buntings were near the Butt. 18 Whooper Swans were on Loch Stiapabhat. 3 Greenland Redpolls were in Bragar this morning.

Harris: A Curlew Sandpiper was seen with Golden Plover this morning. 2 drake Surf Scoters are in the Sound of Taransay.

North Uist: Single Willow Warblers are at Langass Lodge and in Carinish. A Pied Flycatcher was seen on the east side of Loch Sandary

South Uist: The Lesser Yellowlegs was seen at Askernish in the flooded fields by the golf clubhouse (NF730239). 3 Common Scoters flew south at Ardvule this morning.

Barra: 2 Barred Warblers, 2 Wood Warblers, 4+ Lesser Whiethroats, a Common Whitethroat, a Spotted Flycatcher and a Grey Wagtail were seen on the island today.
